There are several ways to improve your company’s online marketing strategy without breaking the bank. All it takes is a little knowhow about how to tweak your current campaign and sales procedures. Some of these activities could consist of editing website content, determining niches to exit and enter, implementing social media campaigns, and so on. You can test these various versions to determine which ones generate the highest conversions. Then you could use these pages, create new pages with the best of all worlds, and run them through split testing. You could either use paid split testing tools or Google’s Website Optimizer. Whatever you do continue to split test your pages on a consistent basis.

Sales Funnel

If you currently sell products, never forget to add the upsell to your online marketing strategy. The upsell occurs when additional products are offered after the initial purchase. Thus, you could generate more revenue per customer on average than if you did not offer any upsells. However, upsells can be a double edge sword since they are currently abused by some marketers. As a result, you may want to include the upsell as part of a package during the initial purchase process. For instance, you can offer three products with the first one representing the regular offer and the other two including upsells. This way you can avoid upsetting some of your customers who are not fond of the upsell process. The key is to test and experiment to find out what works best for your business online marketing strategy.
